ASO Meeting November 15, 2026

Clarification Regarding March 15, 2026 ASO Meeting Theme
The Archaeological Society of Ohio recently distributed a mailer reminding members of the upcoming March 15, 2026 meeting. In that mailing, the phrase “Exploring Prehistoric Ohio through the Collections of the Southern Ohio Museum” was listed in a way that may have suggested it was the meeting’s theme. This is actually the title of the guest speaker’s presentation.
The official meeting theme for the March 15 gathering remains Adena.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and look forward to an informative and engaging meeting focused on Adena culture, along with a special presentation highlighting important museum collections related to Ohio’s prehistoric past.
