STATE MEETING CHAPTER SPONSORSHIP
Chapter sponsorship of State meeting provides an opportunity for Chapters to assist in the running of a State meeting, to get to know and interact with State board members, to share ideas, and to be recognized for their efforts. This forum also provides an opportunity for the Chapters to market their Chapter and gain membership. The sponsoring Chapters will be provided table space for Chapter displays, receive a plaque or banner, and be recognized at the meeting. There also will be a group picture taken of the participating Chapter members to be included on the ASO website or journal.
Any recognized ASO Chapter may sponsor a State meeting provided the meet the below requirements:
-
The sponsoring Chapter must be in good standing.
-
The Chapter must register at least 30 days in advance of the meeting you would like to sponsor. Registration is conducted on a first come first serve basis; however, priority will be given to those Chapters which have not yet participated in the program.
-
At least four Chapter members must be available to work at the State meeting.
-
Chapter members should attend the business meeting.
To assist in raising money to cover the State show, sponsoring Chapters also will be asked to help provide items to sell at the silent auction.
