ASO Store Frequently Asked Questions

ORDERING

Q: How do I purchase multiple copies of one item?

A: After you have added an item to your shopping cart, you can change the quantity for each item you have selected if desired. Simply view your cart then change the number in the quantity column and click update to save your changes. Your cart will then recalculate your total automatically.

Q: I cannot find the volume of The Ohio Archaologist Journal that I want to purchase on the product page. Is it no longer available?

A: If you do not see a volume that you would like to purchase on the page for previous issues of The Ohio Archaeologist Journal, most likely it is no longer in stock. We try to keep our inventory up to date, but you can always contact us if you have questions about a specific item.

Q: Can I purchase more than one previous volume of The Ohio Archaeologist Journal at a time?

A: Yes. To do so, simply visit the Journal product page here, make your first selection from the dropdown menu, and click the "Add to Cart" button. This will route you to your shopping cart. Verify your choice and then return to the same page to make a second selection.

Q: Why do you require a phone number and e-mail address to order?

A: We only ask for this information so that we can contact you if there is an issue with your order. We never sell or trade your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

Q: What should I do if I want to contact someone about my order?

A: Call us at 1-937-926-6400 or e-mail us at asorocks@icloud.com.

PAYMENT

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept both online and offline payments including: cash, check, money order, PayPal, and all major credit cards. If you choose to pay offline, a printable invoice will be created for you and we will process your order when we have received your payment. To pay offline with cash, check or money order, click the "PAY OFFLINE" button when viewing your cart. To pay online with your PayPal account or a major credit card, click "Checkout with PayPal" when viewing your cart.

Q: Can I mail a check for my order instead of paying online?

A: Yes, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your shopping cart, view your cart, and click the "Pay Offline" button at the bottom of the page. You will then need to fill out your shipping and contact information and verify your order. Once you have verified your order, an Order Form will be created with your order details. Print the Order Form for your records, and mail your check, cash, or money order to:

The Archaeological Society of Ohio

SHIPPING

Q: What method of shipping do you use?

A: All ASO Store items are mailed through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Q: How do you calculate shipping?

A: Shipping is calculated as flat rates per item. If you buy more than one copy of the same item, shipping is reduced for the duplicated purchases.

Q: How long does it take to receive my items?

A: Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipment. If you need an item rushed, we will try to accomodate you as best we can. Please let us know by calling us at 1-937-926-6400 or e-mailing us at asorocks@icloud.com.

Q: I just bought a membership. Will I receive anything in the mail?

A: You will receive your membership card and the journals for that year that have been published. For instance, if you join in July and two of the quarterly journals have been published prior to you joining, you will receive both of the published journal at the same time. The remaining journals will be mailed to you as the are published. You will also receive state meeting notices by mail several weeks before the next meeting.
