Williamson Mound


              In 1933 the Ohio Historical Society opened Indian Mound Reserve Park. This 124 acre gift from Cedarville, Ohio, resident and philanthropist, David S. Williamson, contains within it's boundaries the "Williamson mound." Rising to a height of 30 feet and possessing a diameter of 140 feet this perfectly preserved Adena conical mound is a classic example of Adena mound construction.
