More Mound Builders Country Club


                                         Also known as the "Octagon Works" the earthworks at Mound Builders Country Club encompass some 70 acres of land. The octagon contains 50 acres, the circle 20. Today, some archaeologists theorize that a "Great Road" may have been constructed which would have connected the Newark Works with Chillicothe's "Highbank Works" over 65 miles southwest of Newark, Ohio.
