Miamisburg Mound


                The Miamisburg mound is the largest conical mound in Ohio. Rising to a height of over 68 feet , it is only slightly smaller than the largest, the Grave Creek mound of Moundsville, West Virginia. Compared to old photographs the mound today seems to have suffered from the thousands of visitors who have scaled it's every surface, despite a stairway to it' s summit.
